This may be intentional but it often leads to wild goose chases or early deaths because you can’t tell what direction the action is coming from using the sound. Sound wise, Infestation: The New Z is a pretty atmospheric game though, directionally speaking, it is often tough to pinpoint where the sound is coming from in the world. Overall, the graphics never detract from the game and the glitches are few and far between. The graphics engine handles these tasks admirably, but there is some pop up here and there. The real focus here is on having numbers on the screen without everything becoming bogged down. Graphically speaking, Infestation: The New Z is quite basic and doesn’t try to do anything that will push your engine. Infestation: The New Z: What About the Graphics ? Interestingly, like a Call of Duty game, Ithis title keeps track of your progressive including your kills to deaths ratio and general play stats. Urban, rural, and industrial structures all make an appearance here. The arenas within which players are dropped are as varied as the many approaches gamers can take. Loot and trading with players have a special place of prominence in this game and, with three different game modes on offer, players will be hard pressed to say they are bored. You can outfit your character and even gain access to better stuff the more you play the game. Of course, as a battle royale game, you can play cooperatively with people or compete against them for resources. The addition of zombies makes it unique, sure, but really battle royale is the focus here. This title is a battle royale at its core. Players looking for a deep narrative or overarching story probably should steer clear of the game. That’s what Infestation: The New Z is at its heart.
